I went in to look at accent chairs (looking for a specific type). The sales person was very helpful. There was no pressure to buy or look at items that were not the style I wanted. I was walking around, and they found one that might work. We went to look at it, comfort, style, and color. I got a price for the special order. I asked how long it would be (8-10weeks). Which was fine. I was in no rush to get it yet. I left with a printout so I can make sure the size will work. Again, there was no pressure. They do have a lot of mattress to choose from. Quite a few dining sets, bar stools, hightop tables. Probably 40 recliner options to choose from. And of course, standard couch, love seats, and sectionals. Outside, they have patio furniture sets. The parking lot is easy to get into and out of.

We bought a kitchen table and chairs from Coconis that needed ordered and delivered. They were great to work with, timely to receive our table and ship it to us. We chose the option to have them set it up and the guys were quick and professional and took great care not to cause any damage. They seemed to have a great selection of other items for the home as well!

Don't waste your time shopping around. We have shopped around... but always end up back at Coconis in Heath! Great salespeople who dont follow you around or hound you... always running great deals. The quality is next level. Have purchased a kitchen table & chairs and a sectional.... both are top notch. Highly recommend 👌

Facts:

  1. I asked a specific question regarding the protection plan. The salesman didn't know the answer, but said he would get it and get back with us. He never got back with us.
  2. We were told we'd receive a phone call that Friday. That didn't happen.
  3. Manager called on Monday to discuss my comments. I was unavailable. Manager left a voicemail saying he'd call back the next day. I called back and had the CSR leave a note letting the Manager know I'd be available the next day for the phone call. Manager never called back.
  4. I was told by the salesman that delivery on Saturday wouldn't be a problem. They ONLY deliver to my area on Wednesday's.
  5. A CSR called to let me know about delivery. I mentioned again that the manager had never gotten back to me. He still hasn't gotten back to me.
  6. The delivery service told me to expect a call 40 minutes before they would come to my house. I received a call from a random number. I answered, but no one was on the other line. Call probably just got dropped. I then called back 3 or more times trying to verify if it was the delivery service or not. They either never called initially or never called back after the first failed call or didn't answer my callbacks. No contact was made with me by delivery service. Thankfully, I had someone waiting on my house since I expected issues.
  7. The couch was ordered and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. No complaints.
  8. The couch is quite comfortable and we are happy with our purchase.

Opinions:

  1. A customer's experience with the salesperson will be dependent upon how much money the customer is spending. The attitude of our salesman changed when we decided to make a lesser order with the intention of getting the other pieces at a better time for us.
  2. We didn't dilly-dally in the store. Didn't waste time. I thought we were pretty quick. My wife didn't spend any time looking through fabrics. She liked what she saw and went with it. I thought the whole thing was pretty quick and allowed the salesman to get back on the floor. Apparently our order wasn't sufficient enough for him to follow up with an answer to our question
  3. The manger didn't care about resolving any issue we had or ensuring I had an answer to my question. I left a poor review and he probably had to check a box saying he attempted to make contact.
  4. I would verify multiple times if you are told something. Much of what I was told just wasn't accurate.
  5. If you want answers, you probably need to pester them. They won't do much to ensure your happiness once the card is swiped.
  6. The CSR ladies I spoke with were both wonderful.
  7. The quality and comfort of the couch is great thus far. We are quite happy with it.
  8. I expect other companies have similar or better quality and hopefully better at providing accurate information to customers.

The furniture we bought was what my partner wanted when it was delivered and set up we discovered the middle section of the sofa was not right and would wobble back and forth and didn't line up with the other two section of the sofa. We went back to the store and looked at the same set on display and it had the same problem. We were told they would have a srvice person come out to see if it could be fixed. We told them that's fine if it can be fixed but it would have to be in the afternoons. When it got scheduled two weeks later we were never told what time other the between 8 and 5 and we would be notified the day prior to a closer time for them to arrive. Never got any calls so I went to store in heath and salesman called and found out it was scheduled for 10 am to noon told them it was supposed to in afternoon and tha the manager would put a not in file for afternoon. When I told them we can not be there in mornings was told by lady named Sarah they can't set appointment for afternoon as they route them by job so no guarantees to time of arrival.when I tried to explain it had to be in afternoon was told they would not guarantee that. I said I discussed this with manager and was told store manager does not have any authority over their service department and they don't work for store manager. Next thing I know they canceled appointment. I called and attempted to talk to a manager and never got a call back as was advised a message was left i again called back and this time demanded to talk to a manager or owner and finally was connected to person who indicated he was a manager and that he would look into matter and I would get a call from someone the next day by noon. It nowafter 1pm and no return call as promised. Which seems to be the normal procedure for the heath store.say they will call you but don't. I'm at the point I'm ready to go to the store and request they co.e and pickup their sofa and loves eat that matches and just refund our money and go somewhere else to make our purchase since their service department refuses to work on a customer schedule and expect the customer to work around them even when the customer spent their money at their store. We bought a bedroom suite, dining room table and chairs, and a recliner, a few months ago, and things are already deteriorating. The salesman will tell you it's "all wood" but so is a cardboard box. I practically begged my wife not to buy, because I was worried about the quality, but she was assured it was solidly constructed. I would say that's partially true. The drawers are solid wood, and are properly jointed, with what appears to be quality hardware, but the tops are definitely not quality, It chips very easily, everything causes discoloration, (our table has half a dozen areas of permanent discoloration) some of them large, it really behaves like it's plastic. Nail polish melts it. If this is truly solid wood, it has to be the lowest grade available, wrapped with a vinyl or plastic coating. We bought a cheap table from value city that actually had a solid wood top, and that table looked better after 15 years than this one does after two months. Our salesman was very friendly but had few answers to what the tops were made of when I asked, except that they were likely a veneer. They definitely are. It's cheap wood with a very cheap veneer. Also one of our tables arrived broken, and we still haven't received a replacement. My wife justified the price, by thinking we could pass it on to our children, 0% chance this will make it that long. She searched for months before making her purchase, this was the most expensive set, but she loved it, and paid cash for it, now with every new chip, or stain she feels like she threw her money away. UPDATE Our granddaughter spilled fingernail polish remover on the footboard of the bed and not only did it immediately stain it but it actually melted in to the wood (plastic). Apparently nail polish remover melts solid wood UPDATE After 6 months the trim on the underside f of the top of all four pieces of bedroom furniture has begun to separate. Corners are chipping in several places as well. The kitchen table top appearance continues to worsen, apparently its not a suitable surface for grade school art...
