My family and I camped in site C8. C7 was vacant while we were here, so I'll review both. C8 was spacious, although our tent is HUGE, so we barely fit it and do have some rocks under one section. An average tent could fit nicely and there's even another flat space for a second one. C7 is clearly for an RV, because there's not enough flat surface for more than a pup tent. Bathrooms are a bit of a walk down the road, with hole-in-the-ground toilets and no sink. There appeared to be a drinking fountain nearby which may have a water spicket, but I didn't check to see if it has a spicket or if it works, so don't take my word regarding running water. Read moreNot exactly dry camping as they provide a 30A electrical hookup. There is a dump station with a potable (drinking) water connection. We enjoyed the eclipse on April 8, 2024. The park was packed and there were even campers in overflow areas. On the 9th we were almost alone as only 2 other sites were occupied. Clear skies provide great stargazing opportunities.
