Lake Tewaukon — Attraction in Heipa District

Absolutely insane! 1/2 million snowgies flow through this area. Spring and summer migration. Other birds obviously including bald eagles but really it's the geese that make the show. They darken the sky at times just like old-timey photos in books that you've seen. Actually used to hunt on the perimeter of this place when I was in high school back in the day. With not much luck, I wasn't a great hunter nor were my friends. Snowshoe grog was the real objective...

Huge lake went kayaking if I had a dollar for every carp I saw I would be rich there are some monster ones there went fishing for non garbage fish sadly didn't catch anything did see the largest beaver I've ever seen overall nice area...

Took the scenic drive through. So much wildlife to see and great views...
