UPDATE: I'M BACK TO SEE "MOUSETRAP"! Ramona Hillside Players is a nice community theater nestled to the side of the Ramona Bowl, it's got plenty of parking and nice outdoor views. The box office experience was a bit rocky as the ticket clerk messed up one of our tickets and one of the members in our party had to move to the back. It was a bit weird because there was an empty seat next to us. The clerk gave us seats together when we originally purchased them at the door. The ushers/attendants seemed a little baked and stressed, not sure if they're treated the best. The primary clientele at this theater is senior citizens, therefore their word is law. If they find it cold, the staff turn the heater up to eleven. The theater felt like an oven, I was sweating and sweating! If RHP wants to attract more viewers they need to keep an eye on their HVAC. Overall, I really liked the show. I like murder mysteries and the cast was likable. However, the show got a bit slow at times as the cast sat for most of the runtime (this was an odd directing decision). I would also suggest they switch up their show lineup. Again, RHP caters too much to older people, so they tend to skew Baby Boomer when picking shows and music. We need more musicals and diverse stories on this stage! Previous visit: COMFY LITTLE PLAYHOUSE! My Mom found this small theatre behind Hemet's Ramona Bowl and told me how fun it is! I had the pleasure of watching my former drama teacher perform as Annie Wilkes in RHP's (Ramona Hillside Players) adaptation of Stephen King's "Misery." Shout out to Ms. Monica Reichl! This was a happy surprise as I had no idea this playhouse existed and I've been up here by the Ramona Bowl countless times! It's literally right next door. The RHP playhouse has about six or seven rows of seating. I was impressed that there's stadium seating here, no heads blocking you here! There's a separate seating area to the left of the auditorium called The Rose Room which has "complimentary" cookies and water, it's suggested you leave a tip if you pick something up. RHP is VERY community-based and they're always looking for volunteers, actors, stage hands, lighting and more! The cool thing is if you volunteer you'll get to see shows for free!

It's really nice to walk. On the last week I have been observed that there are many persons that walk with their 🐕 dogs, but they didn't pick up the pup, that their 🐕 dog is leaving behind. it's really sad beautiful place but there are too many pup on the road. Is not healthy. Some other just park there, but those ones are leaving so many trash on the place that they were parked. Nasty people.

The venue is nice and quaint and perfect for the area it serves. The play we saw was Misery and it was performed well it was fun and enjoyable to watch. The staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to our seats. The reason I only gave 4 stars was the parking lot needs to be replaced, I know that it is shared with the Ramona Bowl so they have no choice but to deal with the situation. We will come back to see another play here...

We saw a performance of Amorous Ambassador recently. We had a wonderful time. The actors did a marvelous job. This is a very nice little theatre with about 100 theatre type seats. They serve coffee and cookies during intermission, which was a nice touch.

This was our first visit. The staff was friendly and informative. We are going back to see Drinking Habits on May 11th and bringing some...
