Great place but today 3/24/22 I came across a huge rattlesnake called: Panamint Rattlesnake (Crotalus Stephensi) climbing the rocks on “Lichen” aka “Lakeview” hiking path. This was a coiled full grown rock colored (camouflaged) Panamint Rattlesnake and it rattled so loud thru my AirPods; I immediately turned and avoided it! It was a close call so please be careful climbing the rocks this one blended in so well! For now I will stay on the road and you might see a family of deer, bunnies, lizards, squirrels, bobcats, falcons soaring and coyotes! I love this park just be careful March thru August of snakes. Side note: Yesterday 3/31/22 A friend had her car broken into during her walk at about 12 noon they took her purse with all her checks, and bills etc… she was parked outside the entrance gate across from the cameras just FYI she has black tinted windows and a newer vehicle. Hemet police are investigating this so please contact them with any information! Thank you!

This is the most amazing! And beautiful park I have ever been to in my life! Omg! So we'll landscaped and very well maintained by park management! Highly Recommend this park!!! The views are the best I have ever seen, the park is absolutely safe to walk or hike. There is some parking off the street if the gates are closed but you can still visit the park on foot after hours:-) Bring bottled water to stay hydrated and good shoes for walking! Such beautiful scenery!

Plenty of trails for hikers of all levels. Lots of picnic areas and scenic spots. Big outdoor shaded area perfect to hang out at with a horseshoe pit (bring your own horseshoes) water fountain and bathrooms. Bring your dog on a leash, but stick to the trails, and watch for rattle snakes. I brought a 7 year old and my 2 year old. There are some slippery areas if you don't have a good outdoor shoe or boot you could easily slip. Bring water and sunscreen!

Very beautiful place, I can only imagine how much nicer it is during the green season. There are many trails available of varying difficulty. The trails are child friendly as we took our 6, 7, and 9 year olds with us. There are paved trails that are more friendly to parents with stroller age range children to hiking and biking trails for older audiences. There are many amazing views and one could spend hours here easily and only see a small percent. It is definitely worth the trip and parking is convenient as well. I recommend it for anyone. There are many places to stop and rest and also to have a picnic or snack...

Loved my day here. Well only spent a little over an hour, but the trails were awesome and it was just enough to really feel I was in the wilderness with my dog. I got good exercise and beautiful fresh air and then spent some time in the covered picnic bench area with a lunch I brought for me in my dog. It was really awesome! I met a few people also who were there and they were very nice it was not crowded it was just perfect. The 2nd time I went it was very crowded and this was right around Covid 19, and they did close the park along with others in Riverside County and LA(May) for...
