Peach Plaza — Attraction in Hempfield Township

If it's nice outside and your kids have e been on the screens too long. Round up everyone in the house that has some idle time and make your way over to Peach Park Plaza! Bring bicycles, balls, picnic food and enjoy several hours of outdoor time with friends and family. The skatepark area is awesome and I wish they had it when I was younger. If you are into the extreme sports scene then try your luck and skills put on the many cement ramps and obstacles. I don't think the Park police like it but you can also run RC cars there. Remember not to get in the way of ppl that are actually using the ramps like they are supposed to be used and just be mindful of that fact when running your traxxas or arrma rc on the skatepark area. Again, I see ppl doing it but I don't recommend it lol. Also a great place to fly drones if your equipment is registered and you are well versed with your equipment. The park itself is nice and well maintained. Park has ramps and two really nice bowls. My only issue is that the local PTA seems to have taken over with an army of scooter kids. Not beginner friendly because you will never get enough time to fall and make mistakes while learning before some kids come up and laugh at you or run you over with their scooters. Every time I've driven by here to try and get some ramp time theres at a minimum 10-20 kids all on scooters just dropping in whenever.. No order or enforced rules because the parents don't teach their kids skate park etiquette. Probably won't be going back unless its at 9am when they open or right before close assuming it's not being taken over from...

If you are looking for a playground for your kids to play at, this is the place! If you looking for a place for a teen to do a little BMX biking or skateboarding, this is the place! Need a place for your 4 legged fur baby to get some free run time, this is the place! And don't know what to do with the kids in the winter when the ground is covered in snow for free, this is definitely the place!! Peach Park is a beautiful park with two clean restrooms, deck hockey rink, dog park, playground, skate park, walking trail and built in snow sledding/snowboard hills with a fire pit off to the side that is replenished with wood.
