10am Saturday Morning
Great place to enjoy something different. They have a petting zoo, hammocks, and spacious park bench picnic area, complete with spray water misters.
All those are nice, but we came for the ATVs. That's the main attraction. If you're looking for the experience of driving around on ATVs this is it. They offer their services in 30 min. increments. I think 30 mins. is more than enough time to enjoy riding around and checking out a few sights.
Please, remember this is still Texas so the heat doesn't care who or where you are, so I highly recommend going during cool times. We had a great time because of the weather at that time. Our ride was fantastic. We caught multiple breezes and never felt hot. Our tour guide was good. ATVs are nothing like cars! Remember that when steering.
The journey to the camels was fun. They didn't recommend goggles even though they have some and I think that was a mistake to listen to. Riding behind an ATV has all kinds of debris kicked back at you. Not the greatest feeling when you have contacts instead of glasses or goggles. Because of that and the fact that when you finish your ride, you add your helmet back to the table you picked it up from without anyone wiping it down, I took a star.
Book online! They offer a discount for doing such. At least they did it for us. It was about $75 for 2 adults and 1 child for free. All for 30 minutes.
I highly recommend this to all parties or even...
Read moreIt's a FREE drive through safari that is veeery new and still building the ranch. If you have high Jurassic Park expectations do not go! If you want a fun and simple ranch to go to then this place is great! IT IS A BASIC Ranch that's perfect for a day trip from Houston to take the kids. For only $1 you get a solo cup size pellet food to feed the goats and animals along the way! That $1 basically doesn't cover the food so please donate as well! At the end of the road 2 mile stretch there's a free playground for the kids w sand box , horse ride and atv ride/tour. Also there's a petting zoo you can pay to go. There's a small taco food truck and beverage area as well. Our 3 and 4 year old enjoyed the ranch. Please keep in mind it's freeeee and they are still building it out so come with no expectations and...
Read moreThis place rules. Pretty much the only drive-thru safari near Houston, which is what we wanted to find. It's not very big and there aren't a ton of exotic animals, but there's definitely enough to feel like a legit safari experience. Especially because they did come up to our car and ate from the cup of feed we bought. The petting zoo was nice and there are other activities to choose from. Totally worth it too because the prices are very affordable. They take credit cards, there is bathrooms, benches, hammocks, playground, a food truck, and more. The place is great, but you can tell it can be one of the coolest family owned nature spots around Houston when it's...
