Lions Stadium — Attraction in Henderson

It was terrible! First of all, they stole our money! Then they wouldn't let us in on the home side because we had a bobcat shirt on and wouldn't let us be with our friends. They then kept saying we couldn't reenter and wouldn't let us have much fun Overall, the stadium was okay but the staff was honestly awful. And I'm just putting it nice. When I asked if we could have our money back since they wouldn't let us in they were very rude. However, when we asked the ladies in the ticket booth,they asked the ladies about the tickets and they acted clueless about it. Then, the security guard or school officer came out and was honestly plain rude to us. All I said was I understand I can't reenter but my friend wasn't able to enter because of his Hallsville shirt and we would like the money back for his ticket. The officer then kept making rude remarks about us being kids and that we were overreacting and should just go. I visited Lions Stadium on Oct 30, 2020, for their Homecoming game, and to see for the 1st time ever-- out of 3 years (lives in NTx) my great niece, J'lo (nickname), a Lionette of the Drill team - in uniform & performance, and to support her in nomination for the Homecoming Court.🌹🌹* My last field performance at the Lions Stadium was 1975, w/the HISD Band ... Director, late Jerry Blackwell; and, with the gradurating Senior class, May 1976. I love the new "entrance" look & bright school colors; the rich green turf; the big digital score board; the ladies restroom w/lots of stales; the aluminum seating (no splinters😁); and, the newly painted parking lot, but needs more & closer Handicap spots near...

I have center section arm chair seats on the 45 yd line on row "M" about halfway up near one of the aisles. I figured this was a good compromise in the event I have further knee problems any time soon. Fortunately there are handrails in the center of each aisle if support is needed. I waited all nite outside the HISD Athletic office to be first in line to purchase chase unclaimed season tkts fopr the season. Happy with my choice.
