We unfortunately had a really bad experience and won't be going back. The staff was very rude, they young guys working the slides barked at me because I paused to watch my 8 yr old child go down after being spun by the guy working the slide. I didn't realize he was speaking to me at first because it so outrageous the way he was talking. We told our kids not to go down 2 of the 3 slides because the immature boys working them were spinning children's tubes as they sent them down. The line for the 3rd slide was always very long and I have to wonder why... . The slides are also very steep and bumpy, not at all what we expected. The kids did okay with it overall but my husband and I have both been very sore and achy so if you're wanting a snow tubing experience that'll give you a rush this might be your thing but if you're looking for something family friendly this isn't it unfortunately!
After spending $40 per person in our family we were very disappointed to be treated that way by the staff. Especially seeing our kids put in dangerous situations because a bunch of highschool boys were bored with their job and hadn't been taught manners

My kids definitely did not ask to be spinned! My husband and I were standing there as we watched those boys very intentionally but a spin on the tubes and it scared both of us. Our kids are 6 and 8 and it was unacceptable. The guy managing the third line was very respectful and did not attempt to spin anyone, he also seemed more up on safety procedures and was careful to make sure my kids were in the right position before they went down. If there were managers around they should be clearly marked with vests or name tags because there was no way for us to know who was in charge and everyone working up top looked to be teenagers. It was very unprofessional and aside from being barked at very rudely by a teenage boy I was mostly upset about my young children put in scary dangerous situations. Both of them were pretty terrified after being spun and that is not what we paid $40...
Read moreIt was pretty fun but also fairly crowded. We arrived at 11am knowing that they open at noon and there was already a large crowd. Lines moved at a decent pace so we didn't stand in line long. Even though we enjoyed our time there I felt that the cost was a bit steep for what it is...basically sledding for $30 per person. If you are healthy enough to skip the rope pull and climb to the top you get more slides for the money.
A few issues: 1- plan to get wet and muddy. 2- breathing in cigarette smoke from the man smoking at the bottom of the rope pull wasn't very pleasant. Along with that there were people walking around and standing in line smoking as well. 3- not enough parking. When my time expired and we went to leave the parking attendant had parked another car behind our car and we were unable to leave without tracking down the vehicle owner. We had a large berm in front of us and a car parked directly behind us...whats up with that?
Despite the fun we had, the issues I experienced will prevent me from returning to...
Read moreWill NEVER go back! Went here two years ago and loved it but not the same. Drove over two hours this year to go snow tubing with a group. After driving over two hours arriving at the time they were supposed to open(12) according to the website we were told they sold out. Wasn’t many people tubing so I guess they’ve really limited the # of people. Also was told they open at 10am to let people reserve ahead of time which would have been nice to know. Online it said open at 12pm and no early reservations so that’s why we got there then just to turn around with a group of very disappointed kiddos. The employees at the tubing place didn’t have a nice attitude about it either. Seems like they don’t care much about customers. Oh well Black Bear or Jonas Ridge is where we will go in the future where you can reserve a spot ahead and don’t waste your time. On the bright side we did find a cool axe throwing place in Hendersonville for the teens and games outside for younger ones. Also Binions roadhouse’s food was...
