Sanders Ferry Parks — Attraction in Hendersonville

I recently visited Sanders Ferry Park for the state championship cross country race, and I was very impressed with the park. It's a beautiful park with a lot to offer, including a disc golf course, a fishing pier, and multiple picnic shelters and grills.

The race was well-organized and the course was challenging but fair. The volunteers were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was very positive.

I would definitely recommend Sanders Ferry Park for a cross country meet or any other outdoor event. It's a great place to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise.

I give the park itself 5 stars because it's a really nice park. We have a boat and we put our boat in at the ramp here all the time. There is clearly parking places for vehicles with trailers where the boat ramp is and its aggravating as well as frustrating when you drop your boat and pull up to park your vehicle and trailer and small cars without trailers are parked in the long trailer spaces. Signs should be put up or it should be clearly marked "vehicles with trailers only" in most of those long parking spots. There should be no reason for small cars or motorcycles without trailers to be parked there and us people with trailers have to park in the grass or up the hill, it's ridiculous! The bathrooms are also clean any time I've ever used them which is nice too! Such a wonderful place to spend time with a secret lover, it makes it even more exciting knowing they have someone waiting at home and your true love of 16 years is not even a mile down the road waiting up while you go for a drive "alone". No big deal right? How about "I don't want to talk about it" that's a good one.
