The museum was beautiful. I wish we had more time to explore. I really wanted to see the information about the native immigrants like the Mexicans/ Hispanics/ Asians/ African American, Blacks ( please tell me if there is a better way to say it). I know I am missing many beautiful cultures. The information about the flood was very sad and informative. I need more about the community that...

This is such a fun and quirky museum! It has everything from antique dental equipment to wreaths woven from human hair. Also a room devoted to the 1903 Heppner Flood, which remains one of the deadliest flash floods in U.S. history. Well worth a visit, but it's run by volunteers so call to verify...

One of the BEST local historical society museums around. Well organized and labeled, clean, and with a wide range of contest. Pride of place is information about the 1903 flash flood that killed so many. My own grandma was a survivor of that flood!
