Beautiful views, and one can often find deer roaming the area. Lots of well kept trails, and the ponds are excellent for fishing. Pet friendly. Do not go into the tall grass, though, as it may contain ticks. One time, I took my dog to the trails so we could get some exercise, and enjoy the sunshine, but my dog wandered into the tall grass. The poor thing was covered in ticks, afterwards! Luckily, none stuck to either him or myself. Otherwise it's a wonderful place in which, I have many good memories. There's a few different entrances, one of which has a pond with a fountain, and it's stocked with trout every year. The rest of the ponds there have fish like bluegill. Read moreGreat variety of maintained trails for both pedestrian and petal-powered bicycles. Picnic tables are scattered within the park. The ponds are yrout-stocked, but also hold yield some well aged and sized bass and crapi. Do wear protectant if you plan to lounge or go off trail. The area is wild, so all types of animals and insects are anticipated to cross your path.
