Riverfront Park — Attraction in Hermiston

I was riding my bike through the park earlier and I noticed there were some tents starting to go up. I guess that is what we are going to start expecting from now on.

Very disappointed that we allow our parks to be used that way. The worst part about it is that there is garbage usually left over after they vacate the area.

I may have to start taking items to prevent anything happening while I am riding through there.

During the day it's great to use. The engineer who designed the parking lot definitely needs some help with designing parking space for real vehicles. All that space to build the lot and just could not get it...

We stopped for some steps before heading out to continue our trip. We were very surprised how well designed the park was for walking and recreating for the whole family. The trail is well maintained. The playground structure for children is small and interesting enough that I imagined my grand kids will spend about an hour exploring it. We enjoyed reading the workout stations. Great place to take the family. The playground is a bit small, but the rest of the park is huge. Good fishing, and occasionally, you can find deer. Lots of beautiful scenery, and the majority of the park is dedicated to fitness. The place is well kept, and dog friendly. Beware, though! Not all dog owners are responsible enough to pick up after their animals. Parking is available, but it mostly caters to small vehicles. So if you have a truck, it may be a little awkward to...
