Hermon Mountain Ski Area — Attraction in Hermon

I went to the front desk to purchase 2 ski rentals and 2 1 hour lessons. Now never mind the fact that if you fart at the top it will be smelt an instant later at the bottom, (as the total vertical drop is less than an NBA player), but I figured this would be a good family ski place. I purchased 1 adult ticket also. I soon realized that there would be no chance for me to go skiing also after getting two children 2 and 5 equipped with rentals and out to their ski lessons. I went to the front desk to get my money back for the single half day adult ticket. Even though I had just purchased 135 dollars worth of (what would turn out to be utterly worthless) services, this lady refused to refund my 21 dollar ticket. She offered me a half day voucher. Notably irate I told her that I would be reviewing her on Google. She went to her cash register, took out $21, basically threw it at me, and told me to never come back. One star is way too good for this hole. Oh and you could argue that this could be hired help... nope. This was the owner. A greedy selfish...

The trails were in really nice shape and the chair lift was comfortable and easy to get on and off. It is not the easiest place to navigate for a new visitor, however. The lodge is clean and very nice, but the signage is not very helpful. You need to buy your tickets and pay for your equipment rental, then go to the rental part to get your skis and boots measured and adjusted, before doing anything else- otherwise you will have to wait again in a long line. It also seems like people who visit there often keep their bags and coats etc.under the seats and chairs, to reserve a space, and even if they are not sitting there they become upset if you sit in the spot that they perceive as theirs when they come back to sit. I found some of the staff to be in a hurry, and not polite...

Won’t ever go back here again from the time I showed up we were treated very rudely by a girl who was teaching people how to ski and snowboard, they didn’t tell us where the clips were to put on your jacket, they didn’t let us know where the rentals where, first time snowboarding and I wasn’t able to get it down didn’t go down the hill once and they wouldn’t reimburse my money they also wouldn’t let us switch over to tubing, and also was treated very rudely by the employees more then one, also they don’t have signs up saying they have grind rails on the trails and my boyfriend hit the rail and ended up...
