Westside dust, sun and your "son" frame narrowly in the gaze of your aging, drooping eyes, following a day of email, budget optimization meetings and corporate "warfare." Smoke fades downwind in your general direction, raising trivial, yet poignant questions in your forgetful mind of why, when and how hot dogs are made. Should they exist? Will they kill me? Slowly, you underestimate your capacity for rational thought, and hand the cashier an Amex credit card. Your redemption and "way out" then presents itself in the form of a "$5 credit card minimum." Their greed gives back to you, in the name of cardiovascular "well-being." To shade the bleachers would elicit an additional Michelin star. Comprende compadre?

The towns days here are so much fun! Great for all ages, and there’s always great performers at the bottom section. Restrooms are always clean, but there’s not a lot of ventilation in there and sometimes it feels muggy. Other than that, this place has great amenities year round and there’s always something to go watch!

Nice fields and my son loved playing ball here. They definitely need covered bleachers. In the early fall the sun is flipping hot and there is zero cover. It makes a two hour game feel like a lifetime 😂

This is a pretty good park. We went for a little league baseball game. The fields were well maintained and clearly labeled. They do it old school here, so home dugout is on the third base line, rather than the first base line. There is not much shade around the ball diamonds, so if you're going while it's hot out, be prepared to bake. There is also a lot of open trash cans around the ball diamonds which were attracting a ton of wasps. I'm severely allergic to bees, so this was slightly off putting, as it was hard to sit and enjoy the game while having them fly around you. The snack shack is well maintained, and the staff was quick and professional. They did a great job. The prices were also incredibly reasonable for both the food and snacks. Bathrooms were clean and...

The baseball league is run very poorly. Information is withheld from parents, umpires are not trained correctly. The president of the league is unethical and dose not know how to run a non-profit organization. During the height of the corona pandemic parents were not aware that staff at the field worked day jobs in direct contact with Covid-19 patients (nurses). Parents were only notified 2 weeks after the fact that a couple of the teams had tested positive for the virus. At the beginning of the season only certain people that the president deemed worthy were given full refunds when they desided not to have their children play because of the pandemic. I know all this because I was on the board...
