Indian Lake — Attraction in Hiawatha Township

I rarely give five stars, but the Hovey Resort deserves it. Hovey Resort have Indian Lake beach owned by them. Kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats and even more water activities (life jackets provided). There is also a game building, which has a pool table and I believe a pong table. Finally there are bikes guests may use. Although we stayed in the summer, I understand many amendmenties are available in the winter. Access to snowmobile trails, ice fishing and of course the game cabin. The host is wonderful and will to help at anytime and she is delightful to talk...

Beautiful lake that's very shallow so the water warms up nice. Clean and clear looking through the clean is more of a look then reality there's alot of birds and the lakes shallow so always shower after or you might get the itch. The sunset at Indian lake is hard to beat. The campground has wonderful beaches and very helpful staff there pavilions are the most amazing i have ever seen they are more like a building of windows rock and giant beams. Cant say enough good things...
