Well signs posted says park closes 30 minutes after sunset. We where on our way out and guy locked the gate while watching us get back in the car. Did find another sign with 9 oclock on it so it seems it locks at 900 doesnt matter if your on your way out or not. The other 2 entrances, near the army thing, and arbys doesnt do this. Im a disabled vet in rehab for my artificial knees, hate i couldnt get back in the car fast enough for the grounds keeper. Wont be back, better to park other places if you plan to do the walk, or hope you dont have complications while your there. Things of interest is they are putting up columns, bridge for something. Other things of concern is more than 1 person has stated their dogs got some type of fungus from the water. Also the hiking paths are closed for time, seems only...

The waterfront park which overlooks Lake Hickory features an activity building, picnic shelter with tables and grills, gazebo, walking and nature trails, boat dock and ramp, a fishing pier, rest rooms and a system of mountain biking trails which includes a 1.8-mile beginner flow trail, a 4-mile intermediate loop, a pump track for both advanced and beginner riders, and an advanced jump line for more skilled riders.

So, it has a little bit for everyone! And it's in our "back yard" of sorts so we can be there in about 10 to 15 minutes!!! So we make the...

This poor park needs some work. It has obviously been heavily trafficked. All the grass had been trampled into nonexistence. We stopped in to eat a snack while driving through town. The picnic tables need work, along with the ground needing to be graded where they are located. The litter. There was so much litter/trash everywhere. I wish people would put their trash away where it belongs. However, the receptacles were fairly full :( The actual location is great! You can watch boats on the water. There's a trail or greenway on the north side of the parking lot. Due to the absolute influx of park goers, I decided to not venture into...

Respuesta a @despacitosuave Bienvenido, saludos.
