Vitality Anti-Aging Center & Medical Spa — Attraction in Hickory

Vitality Spa, located in Hickory, North Carolina, sets high standards for skincare needs. Their star employee Courtney came highly recommended by several loyal clients, and I made an appointment. It took a couple of weeks to get in, as she is always booked, and I was told by their friendly receptionist Christy that I could have treatment the same day as my consultation. This was a relief, as I was flying home for my birthday, and wanted to look my best. The spa itself is serene and relaxing. The clean and slightly rustic decor put me at ease immediately, as did the attractive and professional staff. An intake was done by an assistant, including pictures taken for reference. I met the stunningly beautiful Courtney, whose medical background made me even more confident in my choice of Vitality Spa. We went over several options, and chose the procedure that best suited my needs, which was Daxxify, which is similar to Botox but uses peptides and has a longer-lasting effect. The procedure was painless, left no swelling, and I left feeling great. Because injectables do take a bit of time to show optimal results, Courtney had me come back in two weeks to see if I was happy with her work. On my second visit, she used a small amount of Daxxify on a particularly deep forehead line and on my upper lip at no extra cost. I really wanted to like this place. My first consultation was awesome, this place is beautiful, clean and the staff were super friendly. So I have my consultation and we decide on a procedure, grace and I, appt was made I prepaid and set for two months later at 230.. arrived the day of my appt at 220 to get checked it. 245 I spoke with the receptionist and confirmed 230, she said yes, that someone would be out shortly and 305pm I walked back up and explained I would like a refund because I was told the procedure would take an hr and I explained to her I was using my lunch break for this and again she apologized and finally at 315 I was taken back, and was told for my wait I would be given 50 dollars off of my botox for the wait, okay cool.. I was rushed to the back, and had needles shoved into my face, to the point I could feel blood pouring down my face, in my mouth and pudding in my ears, after asking for a break because of the pain, grace made a rude comment that we had to hurry I only had an hr for lunch, and this isn't even the procedure at this time, this is the numing meds.. after the procedure was over along with my botox grace quickly left, and left her assistant to clean all the blood off my face.. I checked out, and never came back.. my procedure was about a month ago and my face is still sore, and I'm not a doctor but I think I have nerve damage and there's a slight bulge on my face that hasn't went down .. im praying to God my face goes back...

I moved to Hickory, NC from Alabama in May of 2023 and needed a practitioner for Botox/filler, as well as someone to manage my physical health and well being. I made an appt at Vitality for a consultation and have been a patient there ever since. I absolutely adore the staff (Krissy, in particular, as she is who I am usually greeted by at the front desk and she always greets me by my first name 😊)! Courtney Browning is the P.A. that I work with. She always does a fantastic job of explaining things, has such a calming voice, and is patient and never makes me feel rushed. I’m pleased with everything she’s done for me (Botox, haven’t needed filler yet but will get her to do it when I do, and BHRT).
