4.5 mile (one way) greenway with the northern end at the Piedmont Environmental Center (Penny Road, parking at the center) and the southern end at Armstrong Park (parking here). Bathrooms here at both. There are intersecting parking areas between the two ends at Burnett Park and University Park.
Very well maintained and relatively new. Love the lengthy boardwalks and bridges, some as long as a .5 miles. Scenic at spots through marshlands, over creeks, wooded, with the occasional view of neighborhoods. There are a few road crossings but traffic isn't heavy. Great for walkers, bikers, runners, etc.
The aforementioned northern end at Piedmont Environmental Center connects to the Bicentennial Greenway which takes you through Jamestown and to North Greensboro.

The trails were not that busy. Starting at the Piedmont Environmental Center, I enjoyed this portion of the Greenway—about 1.5 miles in or so—because it wasn’t exposed to the road.
