At $25/person at night regardless of ago - it's family fun (and scary) but NOT cheap, easily could have more info on their website, and could use some better organization
My family visited two nights ago (for the haunted/scary elements) and we had a lot of fun, but overall we were surprised by poor and missing info on the website that overshadowed events from the start.
Right off the bat - the cost of the haunted activities is $25/person (any age) and is NOT listed on their website, despite the reasonably costing daytime corn maze ($5/kids under 8, $8/person 8yrs+), which is a totally separate corn field.
Not showing all prices felt kind of scammy/mis-leading...as if hoping people will get all the way there based on the daytime prices, arrive excited, and then have to decide (after seeing the real price, and having to face disappointed kids/friends) whether to go through with it.
Just be transparent!
Then we were told it's first-come first serve to get on the first wagon (i.e. not based on when you bought a ticket, etc...) which is fine, but no obvious line/queue in which to stand...just that they'd holler when the wagon is ready. later we found out that you need to go outside out back to form your own line if you hope to not wait forever when the tractor/wagon starts. Then the tractor made a loop through a scary cemetery and brought a you back to within ~30 yards of where you started (doh, but it's required to help stagger the groups) and didn't give direction of where to go...so people just kind of wandered between the corn field and haunted house.
In the end, the field of screams was fun but it seems with the rows of corn a lot more scaring could have happened easily, but our family enjoyed the haunted house the most, which was well put together and they do try to tailor to the audience (kids vs. adults).
Overall (aside from waiting in lines) the Field of Screams and Haunted House activities themselves probably took about an hour - with another hour of waiting in various lines and queues...since we were there early and able to get on the first tractor once it got dark enough ~7:45pm.
For $25/person, I wouldn't go back in the future, but felt it was probably worth $12-15/adults...
Read moreOver priced. Not worth the money. My family spent $60 last night to go through the maze. We waited an hour to go through the maze and they weren't busy. The place lacked instruction as what to do or where to go after buying tickets and we had to keep finding people that worked there and asking where we were suppose to go. The maze was very boring. My 10 year old daughter lead the way through the maze and never screamed once. The decorations and props were great but there wasn't near enough live action, maybe even spooky music would help. We were all very bummed when it was over because It wasn't scary or exciting. The wagon ride and fire were nice, and the food smelled great, but after feeling like we had wasted $60 we weren't about to give them any more of our money. This would be good maybe for really young kids but if you are looking for something actually scary, save your money and go...
Read moreFirst time here, and we'll be back! The cider and donuts were so good, the area for eating was spacious, clean, and the huge screens let the air in (it was 80 degrees today) and kept the bees out. Fun but not too scary decorations for the littles, and the corn maze was fun. Maybe we're all just bad at directions, but after 30 minutes and finding the entrance 3 times, we gave up, so I'd say it's not a super easy boring maze. My 3 year old daughter was terrified of the noisy tractor and refused to get on the hay ride. The driver was patient and kind, and another woman came over and tried to get her on, but when that didn't work, she offered to drive us to the corn maze on the golf cart which my daughter was good with. They have a nice play area and a bounce house for the kids, and it wasn't super crowded at all. A very nice place to spend a...
