Fairfield Lake — Attraction in Highlands

Beautiful lake where we always have so much fun! This past trip, we rented paddle boards and were not given instructions where to put them when finished. I paddled mine onto the beach. The boy behind the counter told me I would have to bring it to the other side and then went back to looking at his phone. My husband carried it to the other side and all was well. Then he tried to charge me for an extra hour. Finally, a young lady stepped in and charged us correctly. Other than this incident, we have always enjoyed...

Gorgeous lake and surroundings!!! You can rent kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, paddle boats and motor boats at the amenities center. There is a nice sectioned off area that is safe for kids to play...
