If you enjoy the outdoors, I highly recommend you take the time to stop by the Fish Hatchery. The Fish Hatchery itself is pretty cool. You can see the different stages of trout grown in the various tanks. From small fingerlings to very large trout that provide the eggs for the next generation of trout. The hatchery is cool, but this is only an appetizer to outdoor experience that hatchery grounds offer. There are a number of well maintained hiking trails, where you can see the beautiful hemlock trees that scatter the area. There are plenty of picnic tables, a large gathering shelter, and restrooms. My favorite part of the hatchery is the stream. The water is always nice and cool there are plenty of trout in the stream for those who like to fish (like me).
