Avalon Lake — Attraction in Hillman Township

I visit this lake every summer with my extended family and we go water-skiing and tubing here. Not too many people are driving around on this lake.

It’s the perfect size lake in my opinion. The water is very clear for about 20 or 30 feet down on the east side of the lake. Mostly minnows live in the lake and there aren’t any invasive species in the lake yet. There is a boat wash in some of summer to keep invasive species from nearby lakes from spreading here.

I would recommend going to this lake if you are planning to be around that part of Michigan...
