Pappy Jack's Winery LLC — Attraction in Hillsgrove Township

Cute little place well off the beaten path. Like going to a Grandpas cabin for a visit!

Wonderful mountain air, drinking wine at the picnic table in the woods was just what the doctor ordered.

Wines are very fruity. Very real. If you don't know what an actual sour cherry, elderberry, raspberry fruit tastes like you are about to find out!

Great dandelion wine, sour cherry was well....sour, and we enjoyed the elderberry.

You aren't going to see a cab franc lemberger here. This is what pappy made in the woods.

We will be back.

Note it's a gravel road with a pretty good pitch if your on a bike like we were. It can be done, but it's not...

Pappy Jack's is fantastic! His wines are delicious (and strong!). There were many varieties to choose from. My favorite so far was the elderberry Cranberry wine, since I like wines on the drier side. The winery is gorgeous and Jack himself told us that he's having a wine slushie machine added soon, as well as tables and outdoor sitting areas around the shop. Can't wait...

Great first time visiting Pappy Jack’s. Loved the variety of wines, not too sweet (semi) and all fruit wines full of flavor. Owner nice & welcoming. The property is beautiful and peaceful.
