Absolutely beautiful. Wish things were better marked we drove all the way up a maintenance road then had to back track to find entrance to trail. So as soon as you see the devils den drive straight. go through the gate take firat left and park on the side of the cemetary. Trail starts by fwnce line of cemetary. First half of trail is clear path. Narrow at spots but hey its hiking. Some spots of trail is a stream on trail due to excess water driani g along path of trail we penguin waddled with one foot on each side for that lol it was fun. To get to theactual cave is very vonfusing and no clear path very steep rocky and leaves everywhere. Careful for snakes... We saw one accidentally almoast hit it withmy walking stick. Oh yeah take a waling stick. We did theres was some at beg of trail. Use it and leave it at beg for the next visitor to use. Theres4little benches alobg path to stop n sit for a minutethat was nice. Wish there was a clear look out point fora good pic. Therewasnt one with a mountain background. Overall very happy we came seen tried and conquered.

Google map Morris cemetery. If this does not work on finding it because it’s right beside each other once you leave the parking lot, there is white arrows that will direct you where you need to go but it does not tell you until after you’ve been on the trail a while, how far things are so just to let you know, it states 1.3 miles, if you see the arrow going down a hill taking a first left that means that goes straight to the cave and if you loop around that way you’re going to go uphill to loop around which is more strenuous but from the parking lot if you decide to take the arrow all the way straight first that means you will be going downhill and then slightly up, so it depends if you wanna go up or down we went down and then up slightly to the cave. But we had no idea my first visit that it actually looped around so you cannot get lost. Easy trail but was out of shape my first hike since my car accident in Sept. but was doable. we went before everything started blooming so you can see the mountains real clear it was a beautiful day.

Really awesome hike, the cave is incredible. Park in the field at the second sign for Devil’s Den. The first sign is at the road and then the second sign just through the gate. There is a picnic shelter on the right as well. The trailhead is not clearly marked but is just up the road past the cemetery, turn left along the fence at the far edge of the cemetery and the trailhead is there. Once you get to the trailhead everything else is easy. About 1 mile round trip down to the cave and back up, not a difficult hike but fairly steep in sections. When you get to the cave you are actually above it, you can climb out on top. The trail goes around to the right just as you pass the Devil’s Den sign and down to the cave entrance. It is tricky getting down into the cave, rocks inside can be damp, we had a great time climbing inside and exploring.
