   Read moreThe definition of peace, beauty, and tranquility. Wildlife is all around you as you walk or bike (only where permitted) through this one of a kind nature preserve. I've been visiting this gorgeous location since the first week I moved to the island over 33 years ago. If you're in town visiting, please follow the rules and be respectful of our nature preserve. I would suggest showing the utmost respect to our original natives, the alligators. Stay away from the waters edge and DO NOT feed them! A fed alligator is a dead alligator! Enjoy the experience of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, it'll only cost you $8 for the day if you're visiting outside the gates of this beautiful plantation.
