Update: For anyone who hasn't been to the pool this year because of them switching to porta potties, I wanted to share that the bathrooms are open again and the porta potties are gone. This is a great place to bring the family. This location also has a lake, pavilion, pool, volleyball courts, and snack bar. It is not a zero depth pool, so kids need to be a little bigger (at least a tall age 2) to enjoy. I feel like this is a fairly safe pool for kids to play because teens can stand up in most areas of the pool, even in the deep end. This is a good place to do swim lessons. The summer lessons are concentrated instead of just week to week, so that it reinforces newly learned skills. A motivator in learning to swim is being able to go down the slide when you can swim proficiently across the pool to be allowed to go down the slide during open swim hours. There is a snack bar in the pool room. Prices used to be pretty good, but they have gone up quite a bit in recent years. You are allowed to bring your own snacks into the pool area. I recommend packing your own. You can even bring a blanket with you too to have a poolside picnic. During pool rest breaks there is a table area under and awning for snacks and there is also a small playground for young kids. These are both in the fenced in pool area.

This is a great outdoor pool where you can take swimming lessons or just go for public swimming. The pool is very large, but there is only 1 slide. The pool area is very clean and there are plenty of chaise lounge chairs along the pool, in the sun. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables. There is an indoor building with a snack shop and plenty of tables and chairs. There are also restrooms and indoor showers and dressing rooms. There is also an outdoor shower, if you just want to rinse off.

My 7 year old daughter had a private swimming lesson with LEAH and had so much fun while learning new swimming techniques! Leah was so patient and sweet with her.. my daughter cannot wait for her next lesson next week. She said “Leah is the BESTEST TEACHER/LIFEGUARD ever”

This low rating is in no way, shape or form against the swim instructors or lifeguards, they do an amazing job and if I could rate them separately they would get 5 stars.

The upper management and other workers however are incompetent and rude. We asked if the pavilions were available for rent, we were told that they are first come, first serve, so we planned a party after our daughters swimming lesson.

The day of the party here comes the manager basically throwing us out because another party had rented a pavilion but their pavilion was infested with bugs. Had we known ahead of time that the pavilion was available to rent we would have gladly rented it. But since the workers are incompetent and don't know the policies in place, we basically got thrown out.

Once my daughters swimming lessons are complete, this place will not be getting a dime from my family. We will find a better location that actually cares about...

Ledge pool & Recreation Area is a nice place to go and cool off from the hot sunny weather, do a little fishing, eat, and talk with friends and family under one of two picnic pavilions, that can be used for family reunions, gathering, or outdoorevents with a permit. They have porta potties for restroom breaks. This area is dog friendly, & has collection baggies on-site just in case you forgot to bring yours. Ledge Pool & Recreation also has a small playground area with wood chip flooring for a softer landing for the kiddos. Over all...
