Well maintained, decent parking, and the accessible portion is a great walk for families with young children. Even the portions after that aren't particularly difficult. There were enough interesting diversions to keep everybody interested, and there's enough scenery change to make for a relatively short, but interesting and varied walk. Those of you looking for full immersion away from civilization will be disappointed, because the path parallels route 8, but you'll hear the stream more than you will hear noise from the road, and it's definitely a great option for people who are pressed for time or don't have the stamina to do a longer hike.
