Such a great place to walk! Love that they have benches throughout the walk/woods. They gave signs that tell you about what the trees are. Make sure you carry bug spray mosquitoes are terrible in the Spring/Summer. Also as you get further into the walk the signs stop coming as frequently and you're kind of left guessing if you're going the correct way. Definitely a path that wouldn't be good during the snow days as you'd have no idea where the path is and there are no consistent signage.

Gorgeous place if you want to feel like you're lost in the woods. The trails are well-marked and really fun. Very quiet. We didn't see anyone really until we got back to the parking lot. We'll definitely be back when we're in the mood for a nice day hike with the kids.

What a wonderful hiking trip we had, so well maintained and clean. We loved the storybook trail and the swans, and the changing of the leaves. Please come here, you won't regret it.

Main building was nice with clean restrooms and animal exhibits. Areas around main building clearly marked with easy trails. Local history of rail system very interesting. When you venture further out trail markings very inconsistent. It's odd because it comes and goes.... It's a 6 plus mile hike around full loop. You go through a stretch of a quarter mile and have a dozen markers and paint on mostly straight ways and than a mile with switchbacks and zero markings and than a bunch of markers again. Some areas with treefall over trail too so you have to do some detouring. You can't get really lost because there are roadways around but you may go on a large detour if...

BIRDERS This is the #1 hot spot to go to in Portage county, Ohio!! They have created/maintain almost every habitat a bird would nest/migrate to. Take the time to go down the side paths through the pasteur and you will see unlimited surprises up close and personal.

OTHERS Fantastic, amazing and absolutely gorgeous area! The trails are fantastic but can be confusing to some. I recommend grabbing a map from inside the Station.

Thank you Hiram College, for giving the surrounding communities such a wonderful and...
