Historic Johnson Farm is an incredible window into life in the 1800s and The early days of the church. Pretty wild how much history happened here. Also what blew me away is all the 1800s modern features this home had (for the time period). Fireplaces had warming cabinets, a well pump was inside the home, they had summer kitchens with double doors to make the perfect cheese, centralized fireplace to warm the entire house in winter, windows designed for lighting perfection, there are no hallways so it's a maximized, efficient, use of space, 1st floor rooms for giving birth or guests, doors placed strategically so guests like Joseph Smith have a private entrance to work from. The missionary guides are fantastic and have such an indepth knowledge of this wonderful place. Very peaceful here. Bring picnic food as many tables exist to spend...

Thank you so much for giving us that! We...
