Incredible!! This is a must stop if you are traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway. We spent over an hour exploring and enjoying all the various falls. We continued past the pavement onto the "unimproved" path. It is well marked and worn. There are roots and rocks and it can be slippery when wet. I definitely recommend good shoes. Going down is not strenuous at all but depending on your state of health coming up may be tough. It can be done though! I am overweight and I just took breaks and it was fine! It was worth it and I wasn't going to miss this set of falls! The day we went there was enough run off that we saw 4 separate falls plus the various streams that connected them. We also had our 11, 8, and 5 year olds with us and they did great as well. Do not...

Traveling along the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, you'll find several waterfalls with Jackson Falls being the most popular. If you're in the area, don't forget to make a quick stop at Fall Hollow Falls however. From the parking area, it's a short 0.3 mile hike down a paved path with wooden bridges taking you across small creeks ending at a wooden deck \ overlook. From this point, the trail continues though it becomes very rocky and steep.

Recommended for visits between March and October, it's a nice walk \ nature trip where dogs are welcome if kept on a leash....

This place blew me away! Tranquil woods, the temperature drops a good few degrees once in amongst the trees. It's easy walking with well placed & laid trails. Of course, it's also possible for the more intrepid explorers to go 'off piste' & scramble around down to the waterfalls! In fact, the way the stone had formed is so like a staircase - Mother Nature is kind as well as bountiful. If you're a nature lover, this place is a must! & if you're not, Hollow Falls may just convert u.... Highly recommend this stunning wee beauty shout...

This is a beautiful waterfall! I almost missed it because it's all the way at the bottom! The trail is a little rugged getting down, but my son and I did just fine. And once you're at the bottom you're just in awe by the beauty of the waterfall. My son and I had it to ourselves for awhile before more people started showing up. It's so peaceful. I didn't want to leave! Lol. And this waterfall is only 15 minutes from Jackson Falls waterfall. I plan on coming back again in the fall.

This is a stunning location with three small waterfalls. To begin your journey, take the unimproved trail downwards. As you begin, you will come across the overlook for the first waterfall. If you continue walking, you will have two options to reach the second waterfall: a steep stone path or the regular trail. A little further along the trail, you will reach the bottom of the second waterfall. Keep following the trail until the end to reach the bottom of the third waterfall.
