This is a lovely park with multiple, established habitats on the majority of it along the east side bordering I-215. Mature trees are located along the length of the west side separating the baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and parking lots from the native habitat on the east side. There are shaded picnic areas and grassy lounging areas throughout the southeastern part of the park with scattered mature trees. Broad paved and narrow unpaved paths/animal trails wander through the native part of the park suitable for both walkers and wildlife observers, in my case birding. Wakers will find some elevation changes. The native part is a mixture of stands of Gambel's/scrub oak and grasses/brush. The paved routes have benches located at points with nice views. There are picnic tables and playgrounds on the South, an entrance from Wasatch Boulevard on the East, and parking lots each on the North and South sides. Tennis courts are also on the north. There are restrooms near the north parking lot, yet I do not recommend going in there because it is...

We would have stayed longer but the grounds keeper were mowing and blowing and it's full on ragweed season and I wanted to be able to sleep later. I still give it 5 stars cuz it's well taken care of and if we go again maybe we can choose a day they...
