A wonderful bit of acreage that includes a picnic area and tennis courts, but its real asset is a walking trail that provides spectacular views of the Salt Lake Valley. Want to take a brisk walk that affords terrific scenery? This is the perfect place. Want to sit on a park bench and take a time lapse video of the valley at sunset? Well, the bench is there and it's waiting for you.

A nice quiet park for a walk. It has wonderful views of the city and mountains if you go during sunset. There's public restrooms and covered picnic areas. Water fountains are located near the restrooms. There's even a special water fountain for water bottles. They have baseball and tennis courts. The walking trails are nice but they aren't stroller/wheelchair friendly.

This is a lovely park with multiple, established habitats on the majority of it along the east side bordering I-215. Mature trees are located along the length of the west side separating the baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and parking lots from the native habitat on the east side. There are shaded picnic areas and grassy lounging areas throughout the southeastern part of the park with scattered mature trees. Broad paved and narrow unpaved paths/animal trails wander through the native part of the park suitable for both walkers and wildlife observers, in my case birding. Wakers will find some elevation changes. The native part is a mixture of stands of Gambel's/scrub oak and grasses/brush. The paved routes have benches located at points with nice views. Maintenance is needed at several places along the paved and unpaved paths due to overuse by bicyclists. Also, traffic noise is loud along the east side...

This is the best park in the world! Plenty of stuff to do, and beautiful scenery everywhere! The walking trails are amazing, just not all of them are wheelchair friendly. There are also some other small dirt trails, and once you find them it seems like you are on your own little mountain. Perfect place to bring dogs, kids, dates, anyone! There are picnic tables and playgrounds on the South, an entrance from Wasatch Boulevard on the East, and parking lots each on the North and South sides. Tennis courts are also on the north. There are restrooms near the north parking lot, yet I do not recommend going in there because it is...

I've never been to this park before. I had my dogs with me to run an errand and I used maps to find the closest park. There are tennis courts, a ball field and I believe there are some hiking paths. This park is more for the more athletic minded people! Unfortunately I am too old and too fat to enjoy it. We would have stayed longer but the grounds keeper were mowing and blowing and it's full on ragweed season and I wanted to be able to sleep later. I still give it 5 stars cuz it's well taken care of and if we go again maybe we can choose a day they...
