Nice hike to the river. Sweet views. Wear hiking shoes/boots , not sneakers like I did....and be careful near the bluffs edges. Look for humming bird moths in the grass field in summer. Update Nov.26,2019 I made up here again for a late autumn hike , I love the very noisy dried tree leaves on the trail along the bluffs , the sun beaming down on me ,warming me in the chill of the day today , no other humans around today , it was truly a ZEN experience. I was sure to wear my hiking boots today ! An old fighter plane was flying around on this day, echoing all around me , other than that , silence . I later watched said fighter plane (T-6) landing at The Historic Vansant Airfield (i posted the video to the airield) over in Pennsylvania and was indeed excited for that and the awesome view of the sunset from here is always amazing. I look forward to hiking up here again when it snows . Be careful driving up the rough gravel road ,if you are in a little...

The path is a steady and winding incline, a few areas with steep sides until the top where you most definitely want to hold on tight. While we survived the trek, I won't be bringing my toddler again until she's about 5-6 and can walk 2+ miles without...

The path from parking lot can have deep grooves or mud following rain so exercise caution. But once past that spot beautiful walk through wooded area with lots of native phlox, briar rose, may apple, and wine berries.
Walk through two open fields and follow the trail down to gorgeous bird's eye views of the Delaware River and the Milford Upper Black Eddy bridge to the south and serene views of the river looking North. To another overlook that takes you to an open view of the river looking North. Both are...
