This place has been updated recently but I think they missed the point. Sledding should be more lit up with new light poles. Skiing should be facilitated and skijouring. Its pretty dumb to have a huge wooded park and then spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to put in a fenced in dog park that will get muddy and ugly. Park bathroom now reads, Dog Wash? My assumption ia a public dog wash? But how much money was wasted on this short sighted cheapness? Where that money could have been better spent in a gigantic park is obvious but what I think the community should be concerned about is how that money could have been laundered through this unprecedented upgrade. Read moreI chose the 2 rating due to the condition of the dog parks. It was an excellent space for our dog to run and play. Lately the park has become real mess and a health hazard for the dogs that play there and possibly their owners. Owners are failing to pickup their dog’s messes and dog poop is everywhere. Our dog was so bad, we brought her straight to the pet shop for a bath. Please pickup after your dogs. Read moreThere are a lot of good things to say about this park. It's not only easy to get to, has parking access from both sides, and awesome nature trails, but there is a sledding hill with lights on in the winter. (I would rate the hill, "adult or late teens with good health insurance", level.) It's not safe for small children.
