Bear Ridge Farms Inc. — Attraction in Holly Ridge

This is a nice little country farm style store. The staff members I have interacted with on the few visits here have been extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable and helpful. The selection they offer has actually improved quite a bit! They now have a lot more stuff than they did just a couple years ago. They have also opened up the inside of the building and made it look much more open and welcoming. Very nice little place to visit. Prices are decent. Don't expect cheap prices at little places like this, however these little places can't compete with the big boxes and in terms of price. A small country on Hwy 50 on the way to Topsail Island, Surf City just after you go through a 4 way stop sign intersection at small community called Maple Hill, there is a Dollar General &; Scotchman gas station at this intersection you go through. It is definitely worth stopping by or making a trip to this place. Store looks small but you will be surprised at all thr items inside. Any flavor of jam, jelly you can imagine. At the corner of Highway 50 is the store. Google takes you just past this corner, to what may have been where they sold produce in the past. Definitely make the country drive, for country products, be greeted by country friendly owners. Save the room in your calories, or just splurge for the ice cream!! Scooped Blue Bunny, choice of waffle or sugar cones, I am glad I did not miss out, delicious! Many products in addition to produce, and it sounds like they are adding to the choices still.
