It was a nice enough experience. The kids enjoyed the bounce house most of all. The corn maze was really small and you could see over the corn... that was a bit disappointing. You couldn't pet the animals, and we didn't do the hay ride. But from what saw there was no actual hay on the ride.
They had corn hole, a shop, and pumpkins and gourds for purchase. They were out of apple fritters at the snack shack, the homemade ice cream was very icy and not creamy and I had boiled peanuts which really you can't mess those up.
They had tasty cider which we purchased.
This was a very small event, and though it was something to do here locally it was a little disappointing for my kiddos.
Update 2023 - funny this event has grown and gotten bigger each year and we have visited every single year we have been here. Sometimes twice! Kids are teenagers now and still love to come here to kick off Autumn. They are bringing dates now - which is weird but a wonderful tradition for our family. We love Big...
Read moreI haven't been to any other pumpkin patches in Georgia, but with no admission or parking fee, I don't know how anyone could complain about this one. Yes, the prices for everything else are high, just like every other patch I've ever attended that charged admission on top of that. We approached with a very friendly attitude, and he seemed genuinely irritated to have customers. He barely (and reluctantly) acknowledged our presence and refused to respond to anything in an even remotely polite manner. It was an unpleasant start to our day at the patch, but luckily, everything else was positive. Side note: The bathrooms were so much nicer than the usual porta potties at...
Read moreCute place to take little ones up to 12. Plenty of of parking. Slight hill see chickens in a cage. Miniature donkeys, goats and a sheep in the pasture eating hay. A pig/ hog in a pen. Red wagons to pull the younger kids around. A separate building bathroom for cowgirls and cowboys. A large bounce house and a toddler bounce playground. A large barn filled with hay bales. On the bales a variety of pumpkins large and small. The price for a Pumpkin is written on the top. Many photo opportunities. We bought $4.00 per adult hay ride. We had a 20 month old and she was free. It had wooden benches trailer pulled by a tractor. It was fun. You see a pumpkin patch, cows and a horse, corn stalks and a green pond. Four large pumkin heads. Throw beanbags through the eyes and mouth. Cornhole toss the men loved. I would go again. They had tace painting...
