Chewalla Lake — Attraction in Holly Springs

Actually was very disappointed in the grounds around the lake. The campsites and RV parking areas looked unkept and need a lot of work. Restroom facilities were either closed or damaged from fallen tree. The walkways and roadways were covered with small limbs and debris. The lake itself is a good size but wouldn't say it's anything above average. The boat ramp to the lake is in good shape and easily accessible. The area has great potential but obviously the state doesn't think it...

The fishing area is the only part open. No camping no swimming It's been closed for TOO LONG. All summer long it was closed. I hope they will...

Great sunset, nice beach, and fun kayaking. Didn't catch any fish, but that is probably my own fault for not really...
