I am going to have to look up the way this property became part of Holly Springs history, because I think it’s a pretty cool story. Only the basics have been done here since it was previously a horse farm, but it provides so much for local residents. For hikers and runners and dog walkers and mountain bikers, there are more trails then you realize. Little sections here in there that do all connect if you explore. There are open fields for just running or playing, fantastic places for family photos, beauty in its natural state. It’s a great place for community events, and for the high school cross country team to do their thing. I also see a group of model airplane enthusiasts there frequently. Read moreCame for the Kid's Obstacle Run and it was a blast! Parking was $10 so we parked on the street outside, but the cost may vary based on the event you're going to. Just know there's parking outside and it's a pretty short walk. Also, $10 is rather affordable. If we had a larger number of people or anyone a little older with us, it would have been worth it. The lot is large and very close to the events.
The area was really well kept. We mostly stuck to the lake grass area at the bottom of the road, but the trail for the run was well maintained as well. About a mile and a half of winding trail, most of it cool and shaded, with gravel, grass, and dirt segments.

With a direct path leading to Bass Lake, the trails are beautiful and seemingly never ending. Sugg farm has to be one of the best, if not THE best firework spot in Holly Springs. The open fields, countless vendors, and open sky on 4th of July make for the perfect scene.
