My son went to preschool here for two years and it was wonderful. The nature center itself is also such a great place to reconnect with the wild, and the one way glass viewing room to watch animals and birds at the feeders is so cool, and free! Don't forget to check the old school house and homestead, and wetlands across the street with a newer viewing tower. It's a real privilege to have such a place in the community! They have an outdoor seating area too you can bring a lunch and watch the river. Did I mention it's free? Seasonal events, too, like Halloween pumpkin lantern nature walks and spring pancake breakfasts. Top tier.

This is a beautiful park. There are several trails to hike on, and the scenery is beautiful, especially in the morning. In the Fall, the leaves are wonderful, and the hiking trails are very well kept. I highly recommend this place for basically any occasion. I will be coming back often, especially in the Fall, love the colors 🍁
