Borrow Pit Trail — Attraction in Homestead

We visited this trailhead on a late Friday afternoon in Dec 2024. It looked like such a cool trail. We didn't see many mosquitos at the time. The trail was flooded but not sure if that's how it normally is. We also had our water shoes on (Keens) BUT we were on the Shark Valley Tram Tour and so we didn't have the time to go exploring. I did snap a picture of the sign and trail head hoping it will help someone else who is interested.

This trail has potential but it appears to easily flood and doesn’t seem to be very long. I walked through a good bit of water till I got to a part of the trail that was flooded over completely so I turned around.
