Although the beach is nice in the sense that you have sand, picnic tables, bathrooms and lots of water, there is the downside that the particular area catches some dark matter that builds up on the sand on the beach. If you dig down you notice how the sand is filtering the water and the colour goes from a dark gray to a lighter gray then to the original colour of the sand. Not sure what’s in the water but if you are there for the sand and sun, then enjoy. Just stay out of the water 😁. 2/20/23 Update Stopped by once again for some Beach Time! We dug in the sand and my boy had me bury him. The sand still has that dark layer but oh well. Then the kids begged me to go in the water and play with them. It was partly cloudy and it appeared we were having a great day but little did we know that the sun was burning silently. The next day we got the burn. Loved it! 🥰😁. Enjoy your time while you can these days. We never know when...

It was not crowded everyone was having fun and groups were socializing with others. We will, definitely be back when in the area. We were going to stay longer but as soon as I saw lightning it...
