Every time we visit this park, I ask myself; why don't I come here more often? 🤔 It really is a hidden gem in Old Homosassa.
The Lastinger Tower trail is wide, smooth, and well maintained trail. It's an easy walk to the observation tower with plenty of shade. ↪️ The Red Cedar and Birding trails are more challenging. Both trails have root and rock trip hazards and can be wet and muddy depending on tides and/or wet weather conditions. The Red Cedar trail is an interesting hike.
