This experience was our favorite activity on our Oahu adventure and was an incredible way to see the island.

We chose the doors off option and truly feel it was the best for this experience! We felt safe and secure throughout the entire flight.

Seeing the sea turtles swimming in the bay, flying across a busy Waikiki and above Diamond Head and Koko Head, seeing Makapuu Point and lighthouse, Waimanalo Beach, being in the presence of the Sacred Falls (truly EPIC), the INCREDIBLE Kualoa Ranch and the Koolau Range, the beauty of the north shore, seeing the dole plantation from above was impressive and seeing Pearl Harbor from the air was an experience.

The best part of this private tour is that it wasn’t much more expensive than booking a group tour.

Our justification on going this private route was that, to pay this much money and be potentially stuck in a back seat squished between strangers would not have given the same experience.

With this company, on this private tour, we were just the 2 of us, both able to sit left (front and back), both able to have doors off and both getting perfect unobstructed views of amazing Oahu.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a special experience, thanks to Wendy—an absolute badass of a welcomer! She greeted us with the perfect blend of warmth, humor, and confidence, making us feel right at home before we even boarded the helicopter. Her energy set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Our pilot, Scott, was phenomenal. Not only did he make us feel completely safe with his expert flying skills, but he also kept us engaged with fascinating facts about Oahu’s history, landscapes, and hidden gems. His passion for the island shone through every story he told. And just when we thought the experience couldn’t get any better, Scott timed the iconic Jurassic Park theme song perfectly as we soared over the breathtaking Jurassic Valley. Chills. Absolute chills.

The views were nothing short of magical—lush mountains, crystal-clear coastlines, and dramatic cliffs—and Scott’s narration made it all the more captivating. Whether it was learning about ancient Hawaiian culture or spotting hidden waterfalls, the educational aspect added so much depth to the tour.

Most importantly, the entire operation was incredibly professional. Safety was clearly a top priority, and the crew ensured we felt comfortable throughout the flight. But it wasn’t just safe—it was FUN! Every moment was filled with excitement, awe, and a few good laughs, thanks to Wendy and Scott.

Wonderful experience all of the way around, and exceptional value. Brought my daughter to Oahu and wanted to schedule a helicopter tour of the island. Easily booked this through TripAdvisor, and immediately received digital passes. We received a phone call a couple of hours in advanced alerting us that the scheduled time for our departure was about 30 minutes behind, and asking if that was ok. Appreciated the proactive phone call rather than just having us show up and wait.

When we got there, we were greeted by the owner of the company who took us by golf cart to the company hanger. He was polite and friendly, and gave us a brief history of the company. He brought us to the hanger and offered us cold drinks while we waited for our pilot.

Our pilot, Alex, came and greeted us and prepped us for the flight and gave us a map of the tour, also asking us if we had any special requests not on the scheduled tour. During the tour he was extremely engaging, knowledgeable of the island, and made sure we were comfortable during our flight. The tour lasted an hour and hit some key spots including a dramatic flyover Pear Harbor and the USS Arizona. This tour was a highlight of our trip.
