McCurdy Farms — Attraction in Hood River

Don't take your Dog!!!! We drove out here after enjoying a day of hiking in the Gorge to pick up some fruit for ourselves and friends/family. We had our dog on a leash and as we were approached the fruit stand our dog squated and began peeing in the gravel parking lot. As I had just realized myself when the leash became taught and looked back to see why, the lady working at the fruit stand stopped her conversation with a couple who looked to be heading out and the only other people there and replied loudly "that is not okay, can you at least make him stop?" I replied "I'm sorry" by this time he was finished and she said again "that is just not okay!" Shocked that she made such a scene about it when we turned around and left. Fantastic fruit and very helpful. My wife and friends swung by last Sunday for a final fruit load-up before going home. We had our labs in tow with no problem; but we took care of their needs before heading into the stand. We purchased some yummy Cameo apples and Comice/Bosc pears.
