Gallberry Corn Maze in Hope Mills deserves all the praise! I had the pleasure of being a parent chaperone for my child’s kindergarten class, and our charter school brought 100 kindergarteners. On top of that, there were at least two other schools there with over 100 kids combined—and yet, the experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. PERFECT LOCATION FOR FIELD TRIPS!!
Incredible Staff: The staff at Gallberry were AMAZING. They were friendly, approachable, helpful, and incredibly well-organized, creating a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone.. Their organization was spot-on, and everything ran smoothly.
Cleanliness: The venue was impressively clean. I didn’t see a single piece of trash. Multiple handwashing stations were spread across the farm, which was such a thoughtful touch. The designated bathroom area was spotless, well-maintained, and even equipped with mirrors and hand sanitizer inside the porta-potties. The location of the bathroom area was smart—secluded enough to offer privacy and avoid any potential smells (not that there were any!).
Thoughtful Layout: The layout of the attractions was perfection. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into planning. Each attraction/activity was numbered, and the spacing between them was ideal. Even with 30 kids at one station, it never felt crowded, and it was easy to keep track of our group.
Animals: The animal enclosures were clean, spacious, and well-designed. It’s clear they prioritize the animals’ well-being. The Golden Goat Bridge was really cool! Watching the goats actually use it was such a unique and fun experience.
Activities for Everyone: The Corn Shack was a hit with the kids, especially with the slides at the entrance! The barn-like structure with an open front and back kept the flow of kids organized. The kids were thrilled with the wide variety of activities including a hayride, Jumping Pillow, Double Barrel Tube Slides, Barrel Train Rides, Hay Mountain, and a Sandbox area with a fort/slide and diggers. Each activity was well thought out and so much fun for the kids. There were also plenty of other engaging activities—fake ax throwing, soccer, bowling, corn hole, and more. Everything was thoughtfully spaced out.
Picture-Perfect Venue: There were intentional photo areas and props, but honestly, the entire venue was picture-perfect. Each building/structure was adorned with charming little paintings that added a delightful touch of creativity and character to the venue. Anywhere you looked made for a great snapshot.
Covered Eating Area: The designated eating area with picnic tables was covered, which was such a nice touch. It was comfortable and functional for the kids and chaperones alike.
Top-Tier Organization: I SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST. I cannot say enough about how well this venue was run. The lady in charge was phenomenal—she greeted us, directed us to the picnic area, and gave clear instructions to ensure each group got the most out of their visit. She even coordinated lunch times to keep chaos to a minimum. At first, I thought the time for each activity wouldn’t be enough, but her plan was flawless—it ended up being the perfect amount of time.
I have already recommended Gallberry Corn Maze to teachers at other schools.
I genuinely thought this trip was going to be chaotic when I saw the number of kids there and the amount of activities but it wasn’t chaotic at all. Everything ran so smoothly that it was hands-down the most organized and fun farm/corn maze I’ve ever been to. I honestly don’t have a single complaint and could go on and on about how amazing it was. If you’re looking for a place that combines fun, organization, and thoughtfulness, Gallberry Corn Maze is it. Highly,...
Read moreThis was a lot of fun. Went with our granddaughters ages 4.5 and 6.5 and our son in law. $15 is not bad. $1 discount each for military. Food kinda pricey- but that's to be expected. We ate before going since it doesn't open til 1pm on a Sunday. Spent 4.5 hrs there. Did everything, saw the pigs race too. Spent about 15 min in the corn maze and got 1 letter. Girls were bored to death so we found our way out and went and had funnel cake. Going after a day of rain on Saturday, I was very pleased to see it was not muddy anywhere. Lots of grass. Great things for kids to do that they don't normally get to do. Did not look at pumpkins, so dont have info to share on them. Will definitely be...
