Beautiful hiking spot and very scenic spots along the way, as well as multiple picnic spots if anyone is up for it. We went here during labor day weekend, and parked at Brickyard church road parking, which is a tiny parking for 5 cars max, although there were available spots when we started at 7:30 am as well as when leaving around 10 am. If this is full, there is plenty of parking at orange, white & green trailheads parking, which was on the way in our route. We started on green trail accessible from this parking lot, then merged to white, followed by taking the red loop, which turns around and comes back to white, and we reversed the path from there to return to the parking. The trail is partially marked with signs, we followed the map from Alltrails app on the phone, without which intersections were hard to decide on and we would have been lost without alltrails map. Second visit would be ok, as its a pretty straightforward path. This route has about 800+ feet of elevation and roughly bit less than 7 miles. About 3 miles in there was a beautiful lookout spot, overlooking the Delaware river and views of the mountain. Also, one mile into the hike at the second parking lot, there was a portable Johnny, in case anyone needs to plan around it. The weather was extremely nice, we lucked out, path was dry, and we didnt see much bugs. Will certainly...

Lovely walk through the woods. Not sure which trail we were on, but it was paved. We came here specifically for the incline- I've never gotten used to the lack of hills in south jersey so this seemed like a good place for a hike. I had 2 ten yr old kids with me as well as our 13 yr old dog. The kids attributed their breathlessness to the "high altitude," but i bet their legs just weren't used to running up hills. We hiked on a winter afternoon before sunset and the sunlight reflected off the bare trees gave our hike a deep golden ambience. We didn't see much wildlife but any animals for miles around could hear the kids yelling- one of them was very loud on purpose to deter any bears who might be in the area. We walked to the top where there were some buildings in about an hour, but it would have been much shorter if the arthritic dog hadn't slowed us down. We only saw one pair of hikers the entire time, despite the crowded parking lots at nearby...

Beautiful fall foliage this weekend here, and nice hiking weather. We went fairly early in the morning and hiked the blue trail and then the ridge trail. The blue trail was way less crowded, had the beautiful overlook, and was a lot more up and down. The ridge trail was kind of just a nature stroll for the most part, very easy walking, but extremely crowded. We had to keep passing people on the narrow trail, maybe one group every minute we were hiking the ridge trail. It was a little much for COVID and if you're wanting a peaceful, quiet outdoor experience I would recommend getting to this trail earlier in the morning. Or even hiking not on the weekend.

This is an easy to moderate hike, it wasn't super exciting if you're wanting something tougher but it is easy enough that we saw lots of less fit people enjoying...

We did a bit of the blue trail from the Fiddler's Creek parking area and it was quite nice. We originally wanted to go to the Goat Hill Overlook area to enjoy views of the Delaware river, but when we arrived at that parking area. It was overflowing with cars and there was no parking. In fact there was a police officer there who had a call in for tow trucks to remove cars that had been left on the sides and in the way. Apparently everyone had the same idea as us of trying to enjoy some outdoor time on one of the first nice weather weekends! I suggest not even trying to go there on nice weekends. If you can, schedule your trip for a weekday when it might be less busy. The parking area there holds maybe only a dozen cars. We will try again soon

This is my second hike here. When I first tried it during winter it was so open. I wanted to see it during summer. It didn't disappoint. I started off in BLUE and it felt I stepped into some preserved bushy woods. In a mile come the boulders. It wasn't that bad. And then continued on to WHITE then ORANGE, GREEN and BLUE back. Total of ~6-7 miles. There were some open areas that was too hot for me to handle. Saw the Delaware River at the summit. Overall it was a good hike. The markers could have been better. I felt as if some good Samaritan had written the direction/instructions using some permanent markers:( if not for those could easily miss the trail.
