Big Spruce Trailhead — Attraction in Hoquiam

I felt like a woodland elf roaming the land of a fantasy novel. It's like being in another world. The trail is well-kept and an easy walk. The vegetation is beyond words. It was truly beautiful here! I can't wait to return. Many people would walk the trail and see the tree just to return quickly back to their cars. Don't do this. Pack a snack or picnic and sit in the shade and simply enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this place that God has blessed us with....

If you are in the neighborhood this is worth the short trip to see. At least where we come from you don't see trees of this size anymore. In fact I think along the west coast is certain places is about the only place you see humongous trees of any variety anymore and I think it does us all well to look at these so we have some idea of what this country used to be like before humans began destroying it several...

Wow..wow...wow...please go see. It will be worth your time. There is a large parking spot just outside of Quinalt. It's large enough park larger RVs if the lot isn't full. The trail is a short .3mile hike. The trail is flat and wide, but graveld. Strollers and wheelchairs might have a little harder time.
