Nice course. Probably more beautiful when the leaves are on the trees. Open holes are just that, open. Some are too long for my skills. The wooded holes are technical and fun. Tee boxes are well marked but there are no "next tee" signs but with a little deduction, you shouldn't get lost. Some tee pads are older and don't offer a lot of runway, which suits me fine. Baskets 9, 10 and 11 were out of place making it a bit confusing and had to refer to the map. However basket 9 became basket 19 with a little electrical tape (see photos). If I didn't live several states away, I'd play this course regularly. Also played the North disc golf course. Longer than its sister course(South). Played the new white baskets. There is another course on top of this one with older baskets. There is a huge need for signage. I played around the ponds which obviously affected my score. Overall enjoyed playing this course. ***Update*** After talking to employee at a local disc golf shop, found out that the white baskets at north were just place about two weeks prior to this review. Signage will be in shortly.

Great place overall. They have a hiking trail, tennis court, baseball field, football field, soccer field, frisbee golf, and a skate park that you can see from the road. Had no idea there was so much more to this place until today. However the tiny little playground for your little ones to play on could use some updating. I mean all those activities you can do but there's a park 15 min away that my 5yo had more fun at than this one.

The park itself was pretty, even though the leaves had already fallen. We liked all the walking trails, though at times we were uncertain where to go next (when the trail reached a parking lot, the directions to the next part of the trail weren’t clear. Poorly maintained, becoming gang territory, calling it dangerous is being generous...

1: puppy with parvo found at this park as of 7/13/18. Most likely abandoned, shame on everyone who just walked past him... he's fighting for his life at oak tree animal clinic.. 2: TRASH EVERYWHERE in this park. 3: "no fishing" but everyone fishes there. 4: lakes are insanely dirty and filled with garbage. 5: for whatever insane reason, horn lake decided to CUT DOWN one of the oldest trees in the city... 6: and finally, the lack of police presence makes latimer lakes all the more dangerous.

Spend the extra time and go to Southaven or olive branch park, at least it's cleaner and has more...
