The 1/2 mile-loop walking trail winds through an active prairie restoration site with a wildlife observation deck, bird blind, and gorgeous sunset-viewing spots. There are very few pedestrian friendly areas in Horseshoe Bay. This is the newest and BY FAR the nicest. It's a half mile walk around this incredibly well done nature park with a lot of attention to detail and nature preservation. Dog friendly with the exception of the steel foot bridge on the back side of the park. Fine for people, not good for dog paws but an easy walk around with the pooch. Big kudos to all that were involved bringing this well done amenity to life. Wish there were more pedestrian friendly areas like in HSB.
