This place is always an awesome place to go and seat for a while. It calms my mind. You will be thinker if you are there. walk to the light house is awesome. Gentle breeze, high wind everything is awesome. Must visit place while in UP Out of 10: Place - 10 Cleanliness - 9 Hygiene - 8 items available - N/A Driving - 10 walking - 10 Hiking - 10 Cycling - 8 (tough during winter) Food cost - N/A Washroom - no washroom People/staff - N/A weather - N/A Area...

Great sandy beach to relax and recreate! Beautiful views of the lake. Saturday night was busy with picnickers, swimmers and boaters. Lots of parking is available. Portable toilets are located around the parking area. Very busy with party goers which might explain why there was no toilet paper in the porta-johns. Clean area to enjoy but be sure on busy evenings to BYOL ( Bring Your...

Came here for a sunrise on a sunny winter day and it was amazing!! I also saw dogs on a walk, lots of deer, and a bald eagle landing in its nest. Another bonus is there isn't too long of a walk - I didn't need snow shoes or skiis but you could go farther down the beach with more...

Portable toilets are located around the parking area. Very busy with party goers which might explain why there was no toilet paper in the porta-johns.
